In the weeks following the last review, I continued my progress on the music notes. As I was unsatisfied with the animation if Shot 3 for Underwater, I reanimated the notes to look a little more straight and clean. I then added the music notes. After that, I created loops of the music notes and lines for the scene in all the different colors.
Another note I animated was the one that floats down to Melody's nose and pops in Carried Away Shot 3. For this one, I used an Angle Gradient for when the music note takes a turn down. I also reanimated the main shot so that Melody's eyes would follow the note.
I redid the music notes floating in the shot where Melody gets on the zipline. For the yellow note, I added a few more frames. I also rendered them separately so one could float behind Melody's shack.
I also continued the animation for my scenes, where I added more to Storm Shot 4 with more movement from Melody and the scarecrows as they fly off the raft.
I even added a camera for the wideshot that would become Shot 1.
I added the scarecrows to Shot 2 and added movement, where they would sway with Melody as she plays her flute and then start swaying faster with the rocking of the raft. At the suggestion of the lab monitors, I offsetted the movements of the scarecrows.
For Carried Away Shot 2, I animated the zipline as it drags away from the island with the raft.
I continued to polish the texture for the Giraffe and fix up any of the mistakes that appear when it is in 4K resolution.

As we are in the endgame with our short, I will continue to put my best foot forward on my work. As I have until the 20th to finish the main animation, and the 25th to finish the music note animation, I will keep working hard to meet these deadlines. My group has also asked me to work on Fear Shot 3. I am happy with how some of the animation is turning out, and I will continue to gradually make it better, which will make our Senior capstone short the best that it can be.
